Toadally Toddlers Survival and Swim Program
Our  toddler survival classes are offered to children under 4.. There are three levels to this program TT1, TT2 and TT3.   Our Toddler survival program has been designed and developed by Mary over the course of 25 years teaching infants and toddlers. All of our Toddler instructors have completed over 80 hours of training for this program. They continue to work with Mary in clinics to provide continuing education as well as a safe and effective teaching environment for your toddler.
The Toadally Toddler Program combines survival skills with Learn to Swim skills.  Children who complete this program will enter the Learn to Swim program at Level 3 and have confidence in the lesson setting.
Toddler 1 Classes are broken down to 10 minutes one on one with the instructor, learning survival skills in the water.   This provides a safe environemnt for your very young swimmer in which the instructor will focus ONLY on  your child.  This also allows the instructor and child to develop a trusting relationship as toddlers learn these  valuable life saving skills.  Time is limited in the water to reduce the chances of your child drinking too much water as they get comfortable with submersion, rolling, floating and balancing skills.

Toddler 2 Children work for 15 minutes, two on one while they begin learning  mobility skills, introduction to backstroke, a modified front crawl, advanced survival skills and breath control. In addition the children will learn how to safely wait  their turn while the instructor works with another child.
Toddler 3 children will work for 30 minutes in groups of up to three. They will learn backstroke, freestyle with a modified breathing technique and build endurance  for swimming up 50 yards without stopping.  Most of our children enter the learn to swim program at a level three when completing TT3.

Just Swim, Learn to swim program
There are six levels to the Aquatic Adventures Just Swim program. The first four SWIM levels focus on developing your child into a strong, confident swimmer. At the completion of Level 4, children will be able to swim 50 yards Backstroke and 50 yards Freestyle with bi-lateral breathing. We strongly recommend that every child complete all four SWIM levels.
The SWIM levels are SEAL, WALRUS, ICE FISH, MACARONI PENGUIN.
Level 1 - SEAL
he first level of our SWIM program focuses on water introduction and safety. Children learn basic skills to develop comfort in the water. Children entering at this level have no swim skills and many have never had lessons before.
Level 2 - WALRUS
Children in this level will begin to learn primary independence and safety skills in the water leading up to stroke preparation. Children should have passed Level 1 or must be comfortable putting their face in the water and have basic floating skills.
Level 3 – ICE FISH
Freestyle and backstroke are introduced at this level. There is an emphasis on endurance and breath control as children become more independent in the water. A child entering this level must have passed Level 2 or be able to kick with their face in the water five to six feet, change positions and return to the wall. Children must show readiness for stroke development.
Level 4 – MACARONI PENGUIN

At this level children will complete backstroke and freestyle skills and will develop endurance, deep water and diving skills as they learn fun and freedom in the water. Children registering for this level must have completed Level 3 or must be able to swim independently 25 yards backstroke with intermediate skills, swim 25 yards freestyle with modified breathing and kick 100 yards on a kick board.

Levels 5 and 6 – POLAR BEAR CLINICS I and II
Polar Bear Clinics I and II are advanced levels of our Learn To Swim program.
Polar Bear I: In this clinic children will build upon the SWIM skills, increasing strength and endurance in the water. Breaststroke and butterfly are introduced in this clinic.
Polar Bear II:  This clinic is ideal for children who are interested in swimming as a sport, all summer or all year long. This clinic will develop the final two strokes and teach all the starts and turns.

Private Lessons/ Booster Lessons

Private Lessons - Sometimes, due to special situations or schedule needs, private lessons may be necessary or desired.   Younger children may only require a 15 minute lesson.  Older children, adults and stroke work would typically need 30 minute lessons, these lessons may be 1:1 or 2:1.
Booster Lessons - Children in our learn to swim program sometimes hit a plateau or may struggle with mastering a skill.  Booster lessons are individual lessons that can be scheduled in addition to group lessons to help the student get to the next step.  Often we need only one or 2 lessons and the primary goal is to keep progression without needing a complete schedule change.

 Adapted Aquatics
Our unique Adapted Aquatics program is available for anyone with special needs.
For many people, the water offers so much more than the opportunity to swim. We believe water is the ultimate medium, allowing people with special needs to experience freedoms and activities they could not have on land.
The Adapted Aquatics program is more than just Learn to Swim; it is exercise, therapy, play and opens a door to a new world. Each participant in this program will have a personal plan based on their needs and goals. Participants are worked with in pairs or individually and many are started or integrated into our Learn to Swim Level program.
